Story

Quelxian is the creative home of visual artist Racquel Dwomoh, a place where colors feel alive, where brushstrokes carry emotion, and where every texture tells a story.

Shaped by her childhood in Accra, Ghana and her family roots on the island of Montserrat, Racquel’s work carries the warmth of heritage woven gently with the spark of her imagination.

On canvas, her paintings unfold in rich layers—bold, vibrant, and full of movement. In her wearable art and heirloom accessories, needle and thread join with fabrics, beads and sea shells, each element chosen with care and intention. Together, they transform into pieces to hold close, to wear with pride, and to let spark conversation and memory across time.

Racquel creates with a storyteller’s heart, blending color and form with tenderness and joy. Her art is something you don’t just look at; you live with it, you feel it, you remember it.

“Quelxian is where art feels like home, where stories are shared, and where beauty is carried forward.” —Racquel Dwomoh
